the site was www.jehovahs-witness.com and was just fill of retarded apostates!
they were not only using a domain name and header name that denotes a conection with the actual watchtower society, but where using it to blasphem the jehovah's true organization in order to help people break away.

Just finished a french film titled: "A Very Long Engagement." Its about a woman and her fiance in WWI. It's more of a mystery than a romance. It is one of the most visually stunning films I've seen in years. If you don't mind reading the Subtitles it fantastic. Check it out!

changes in WT cd rom
by Lot incan any one please give me examples, if such exist, of substantial changes in the cd rom vs the hard copies of mags.
this would prove to be invaluable to me in helping my wife see the deception involved with the wts.
i say substantial because something that was obviously a mistake of minor importance could happen in any electronic transfer of data.. thanks so much,.

Elder Condemned Me to Death
by Grace ini have been thinking about this because of another post where the question asks have any of us ever been blackmailed to stay in the watchtower organization.. no, i won't say i was blackmailed; however, after i wrote my note of disassociation, the congregation overseer wanted to visit me in my home with two other elders.
i repeatedly said no, that i would not allow them to chastise me in my own home.
therefore, all of my conversations were over the phone with the overseer.

I am in my right mind and wouldn't dare do something as lame as defend the Faceful and Disgusting Slave. I don't beleive they are God's channel on earth. I don't beleive that everyone who isn't a JW will die at smArmageddon. (Dont beleive anyone will because it aint gonna be.) But, I do believe that there are people who are sincerely interested in the benefit of those who are "in danger" of such. A few have avoided the "I'm gonna live and you're not" attitude. I've had dear friends who have pleaded with me to see the "good things" I am leaving and the danger ahead in my position. They said this because they truly care for me, not to intimidate me or coerse me.
Hoepfully they end up here with thier eyes opened, until then they foolishly work within the system seeing no way out. Are all of you here saying that you didn't sincerely beleive that bullcrap at one time? Thats what made us all such slaves, they had us in the grip of such flawed reasoning that we too accepted that poop. We should be ready with arms open to those who are on thier way out. That's what I've found comforting here. People who accept the FDS as the prophet and stand with thier hands on thier hips will never listen to reason.

Spiking at the DC...
by Frog ini hit the pillow early last night, first week back at uni is really taking its toll after a month of sleep ins and so on lol!
i must have stirred around 11pm and started reflecting on a list of thoughts that i reserve for quiet moments.
after reading a number of threads on posters that attended the dc this year, it crossed my mind momentarily last weekend that perhaps i might do the same, even if only for a couple of hours on saturday??

Ya know Lot, by fading you will leave certain doors open for yourself. That's a given. By doing as you are, sharing little things with your wife, you reflect the Society's own strategy on them. Funny to think you are trying to make your believing mate into an unbeliever after years of nudging to do the opposite. Take it slow and fade. you have privileges? I'd say you could tell the elders you need time to try and look after your family's spirituality and can't do talks anymore. That at least will stop that. If they insist, you can say you are not up to it now. The watchtower says you have to look out for your family or you are as a man without faith.
Little by little just progressively fade. Dont volunteer anything more at the meetings than a hello or a nod or two. Dont let them grill you. People aren't stupid, well, er um, maybe some, they will slow up showing an interest in you but not shun you. Then go on about your business

Preparing for meetings
by daystar ini can recall from a very early age, that before just about every meeting, our family would be on edge while getting ready.
often some of the very worst of our personalities would show themselves.
we would argue and sometimes be downright verbally abusive with each other.

Expect to be inundated with interested people who just love to see you there. They will be so friendly and interested in you that many will offer you a home bible study. (dont take it) Though they are friendly towards you they will be thinking to themselves that you will hinder his progress, (and talking about it to each other later) .
Someone will give a prayer (men only) asking "Our reigning king Jesus Christ to put his spirit on the meeting.They will open the meeting with a song, title doesn't matter, they announce the number because the title just get in the way of getting it over with. If its a Sunday meeting a speaker will speak for 45 to 50 minutes on a subject that will bash everyone besides JW's no matter what the subject under discussion while telling the R&F how blessed they are NOT to be part of this world. THen a song and another hour of the most boring parroting you will ever experience. They will study the Watchtower. The paragraph is read, the question is asked, men with microphones will bring one to you if you are called on, (everyone is a star!) and then you reread to the one presiding the same thing just read to you. Blah blah blah.
If its a bookstudy you will sit in the hall or someones house for an hour and do the same thing as the watchtower but without the boring talk or microphones.
If its the Ministry School and Service meeting you will have two hours of sales instruction and public speaking to endure.
Dont go more than once. Write down questions for your friend.
It aint gonna be pretty.
